Northern Hike

Hey folks! I was feeling mighty experimental and I wanted to do something with a LOT of saturation in the colors, primarily red blue and green here, with purple added in too. This sorta overrid a lot of the colors of the scene but i dont think that is a bad thing here! its a very interesting look.

I havent drawn much of northern sogalun life as I am still typing and adding notes to the world and such, but one thing I wanted was it to appear incredibly surreal and intense, like Northerners seeing THE WHOLE FREAKING GALAXY around them from sunset to sunrise all through the night. Also sogaluns here dress up like sleeves, they dont reveal much of themselves at all because they would freeze. I imagine sogaluns here, due to both the harsh nature of their world and the incredible beauty of the northlands, these sogaluns would be very religious, having a more organized church and a unique society all based on religious doctrines, something like really religious monk like sogaluns, with a unique dialect and culture since they are so isolated from the rest of the world.
so I thought I would draw a sogalun in typical Northern Garb, a bunch of leather well insulated from the surrounding cold., and then I thought a background would be cool, and then I thought of the super saturation idea and this turned up

I dont know if it looks good or bad, but it is an experiement and I had fun doing it!
